Lily Pad Heart Landing

After visually and emotionally experiencing the beauty of a small garden pond covered in lily pads of varying shades of green, I felt immense happiness and peace. All the different shapes and colors, dappled in sunlight, coupled with the seeming weightlessness of the lily pads afloat in the water, inspired immense joy. I felt that my heart and spirit, heavy with the stresses, anxieties, and worries of the day, week, month, and year, had momentarily found a restive and healing landing spot.
