There’s a story in every work of art. The Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) is sponsoring this juried exhibition showcasing works exploring the stories within the images created by CAVA members. See and feel how CAVA artists translate their experience, thoughts, feelings and insights into visual stories.

I am so honored that my art work “Healing Blanket: Cellular Memories of Your Voice in the Thunder” was juried into this show. This artwork pays tribute to my son, Carson, who died before he was born and who was birthed as a stillborn baby. This art is a grief blanket, a baby blanket, and a healing blanket for anyone suffering neonatal loss, stillborn infants, miscarriage, or any kind of child loss.

The Opening Reception for this interesting and unique show is Friday, February 3, 6-9pm.
