Anatomy of a Gaze

“Anatomy of a Gaze” is my imaginative interpretation of what happens to our cells when our eyes fixate on a loved one who is near and dear to us, in that special way, containing longing and yearning - it’s about what happens on a cellular level when you get to see that person after a long absence.

Yellow for the light that is ignited inside you, red for all the love you feel for them from an overflowing heart, and blue for the “little tears” that come.

Watercolor pencils, colored pencils, paint pens, micron pens and graphite on watercolor paper.

This piece is now SOLD.
